Howard was born in 1925 in Pulaski, New York. Adele was born in 1932 in Davenport, IA. Howard retired from Iowa-Illinois Gas and Electric Co in 1988 after 35 years as an Engineer Technician. Adele retired from Rock Island Arsenal in 1988 after 23 1/2 years as a Voucher Examiner. Both are members of Grace United Methodist Church, Davenport, IA.
Adele is involved in many craft projects, such as crocheting afghans and other crocheted itmes. Howard is a private pilot, an artist and a musician.
The remainder from the annuity will be used for a scholarship fund set up through the church for youth who want to attend college or trade school.
