Nancy Baker was born September 4, 1929, in Moline, the daughter of John W. and Della M. Slocum Baker. She retired in 1991 as a secretary at J I Case Co. in Bettendorf after 20 years of service. She did volunteer work at Genesis Hospital in Davenport. She enjoyed reading and cross-word puzzles.
