The purpose of the Bettendorf Parks & Recreation Foundation is to organize, sponsor, and maintain a program for improving the public parks and recreation programming in those parks and facilities owned and operated by the City of Bettendorf. the foundation also serves as a vehicle to accept or acquire gifts, legacies and bequests on behalf of the Bettendorf Park and Recreation Commission. The 13 Board members of the Foundation meet the 4th Thursday of each month at the Herbert D. Goettsch Community Center. Meetings are open to the public.
