Since the Foundation's inception in 1990, a major goal has been to provide scholarships to PVCHS graduating seniors. The Foundation has progressed from awarding just two $500 scholarships in 1991; to fifteen $1000 scholarships awarded each of the past six years. To date, the Foundation has awarded 145 scholarships totaling $120,500 including those awarded in 2003. The Foundation's ultimate goal is to provide a scholarship to every Pleasant Valley High School graduate. The Foundation Board sponsors an annual golf event each spring at Palmer Hills in Bettendorf as their major fund raising effort for the scholarship fund.
