CASI has served seniors of Scott County for over 29 years. The purpose of CASI is to provide programs that are devoted to daily living, human services, and leisure activities for senior citizens and their families. CASI's vision is to be recognized by the community as the premier resource center for persons over the age of 60. Their mission is to provide services that meet the needs of older adults, and foster respect, dignity and quality of life.

Services at CASI include: senior advocacy, nutrition, adult day care services, transportation, volunteer opportunities, leisure activities, intergenerational reading program, plus special activities and events. Volunteers are so important - CASI'S more than 800 volunteers come from all walks of life and all ages. These dedicated individuals are the backbone of the organization. The Community Foundation is pleased to partner with the Center for Active Seniors, Inc. to administer their organization endowment fund.
