The Iowa-Illinois Regional Auto Show announced at this years kickoff event that the proceeds from past and future shows
would be used to establish an Endowed Scholarship Fund to
be administered by the Foundation.
To be eligible for this Scholarship the applicant must:
n Have attained a minimum of high school Senior status.
n Be a resident of Henry, Knox, Mercer, or Rock Island County in Illinois; or Cedar, Clinton, Muscatine, or Scott County in Iowa.
n Be employed at or have a grandparent, parent or legal guardian employed at a New Car Dealership in one of the above mentioned counties.
Going into its fifth year, the Auto Show has annually attracted between 30,000 and 40,000 attendees to the Davenport RiverCenter. Each year the Show displays over 150 vehicles, representing over 30 manufacturers. The support received from both the public and automotive manufacturers has made the Auto Show one of the best of its kind in the country.
The Foundations Board of Directors will approve the recipients of the scholarship.
