GIFT - Geneseo Is For Tomorrow is the first ever affiliate fund established in the Community Foundation! GIFT is Geneseo's local community foundation and will be a tool to recognize local needs and build endowments that support Geneseo and the surrounding area. "The Community Foundation of the Great River Bend has a long history of expertise and experience. We will benefit greatly from this association," said Dawn Tubbs, Executive Director of the Geneseo Chamber of Commerce. All the benefits of a community foundation - personalized service, local expertise, and community leadership will now be available in Geneseo and the surrounding communities. The GIFT Board of Directors brings local knowledge and experience to address community issues and needs.

The Community Foundation's partnership with GIFT will provide the tools and expertise to organize funds within their region, which represent the philanthropic goals of their donors. Chris Thompson, GIFT supporter, states "Gift is a conduit for combining the efforts of donors whether it is an individual, corporation, foundation or a nonprofit organization."
